Students in this course will learn skills required to identifying various occupational health and safety hazards, assess the risk associated with the hazards, apply control methods, and evaluate effectives of the applied controls. Legislative requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations under the Act will be reviewed in detail as students work towards understanding principles of hazard identification and risk assessment.
