Building Superintendence and Repair

This program prepares you with the skills and strategies required to interact with customers in a professional and appropriate manner in a diverse business environment. This Ontario College Certificate program prepares you to conduct inspections and maintenance of buildings, while gaining hands-on experience in interior repairs, painting and cleaning, plumbing and building system maintenance, grounds maintenance, record keeping, working with contractors, and landlord-tenant relations. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities you will develop the workplace interpersonal skills needed to support all phases of your career. A field placement is included; allowing you to translate theoretical knowledge from the classroom into applied practice in a workplace setting.

Computer-Aided Drafting and Design

Computer-aided design or CAD programs are used in just about every business today to keep a company on the cutting edge of technology. These popular CAD programs are being used in the manufacturing, design, and architectural areas. In this program, a strong emphasis is placed on creating and altering CAD drawings from blueprint/schematic drawings.

Data Processing and Reporting

This program provides the skills and strategies required to interact with customers in a professional and appropriate manner in a diverse business environment. This Ontario College Certificate program prepares you to use various electronic data applications, while gaining hands-on experience to organize data, visually present data, develop basic data reports, validate accuracy of data and support digital marketing platforms. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities, you will develop the workplace interpersonal skills needed to support all phases of your career. A field placement is included; allowing you to translate theoretical knowledge from the classroom into applied practice in a workplace setting.

Network Technical Support

Business is ever evolving to include more and more information technology (IT) resources for staff allowing for increased productivity in the workplace.

This two-term Ontario College Certificate program enables you to gain the critical knowledge and skills required to configure and troubleshoot end user computers, server operating systems, infrastructure services, and networks.

Students refine their skills by completing activities that are typical in a business setting within an IT support role focusing on client needs.

Personal Support Worker - FAST Delivery

This program is a 20-week accelerated delivery. As a member of an interprofessional health-care team, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides supportive person-centered care across the lifespan to individuals and families, at various levels of health and wellbeing, in a variety of care environments including: long-term, community and/or hospital care settings. Conestoga's PSW program prepares students to become preferred graduates for the profession; one that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. The Living Classroom is an innovative curriculum delivery model, combining classroom and real-life experiences for students to build increased knowledge and confidence working with older clients and care teams obtained by immediate integration of learning in long-term care and retirement living environments.

Process Quality Engineering

This advanced-level graduate certificate program provides individuals with the knowledge and techniques to improve the delivery and quality of manufactured goods and services. The material taught in this program can be applied within any area of an organization and the focus is on the achievement of performance excellence in manufacturing and business processes through the use of modern quality improvement methods. The program develops the skills required to perform process quality roles in a broad range of organizations and sectors.

Renewable Energy Techniques

This program is designed to give students the skills and knowledge needed to effectively create, install, and maintain functional renewable energy systems. Students are introduced to the different sectors of the renewable energy field. Both theoretical and practical applications in solar power, wind, solar thermal technologies and other forms of alternative energies will be explored.

Web Development and Internet Applications Fundamentals

Students will explore the skills needed to work with the foundations of what makes up the majority of web technologies and interactive user interfaces.

Through the creation of various projects, you will develop your design capabilities through a structured, hands-on approach.

Students will create several websites based on client needs that will include the initial stages of layout, wire-framing, prototyping, applying industry best practices, and accessibility standards.
